The corporate commitment of the Ibex-35 Stock Index with the female talent through Instagram publications during 2022

Abstract

Introduction, Corporate reputation and the various tools that help build an accurate image to deal with stakeholders is are lately acquiring more relevance for companies and organizations. Thus, the Corporate Social Responsibility’s internal and external dimensions and how to manage the five variables of diversity have become a strategic factor for big companies. Purpose, This research essay will go deeper into the way companies which belong to Ibex-35 Spanish Stock Index use corporate communications -generally- and Instagram -particularly- to communicate their CSR actions and their diversity management initiatives. Aims, Through this quality and quantity research it is pretended to know how the communication of the actions related to women talent acquisition in the organization has worked as one of the diversity dimensions. Methodology, A research of several profiles companies hold on Instagram is carried out and more than 3,700 publications carried out in one year are analysed . Results, The Ibex-35 companies owe a non-equal presence on Instagram. Having been the 35 taken into account, only 14 develop specific publications highlighting female talent. It, however, does not exceed the 10% in any case. Discussion and contributions, Some research possibilities may open in order to know how these companies communicate other specific CSR or diversity management actions in their Instagram or other social networks publications, in which they keep an active presence.
