Abstract

As evidenced by the results of the last presidential election in France of 2017, European unrest is increasingly reflected in the mirror of the election campaign, and in the same time in the French minds: the distrust towards the future in the EU expressed by the hexagonal society was generally one of the constituents of the votes in this beginning of XXIst century, expanding the dividing line between pro-Europeans and anti-Europeans and drawing a future where France and Europe must rethink their ties.
