Abstract
The article raises an in-depth analysis on the possibilities that the Social Networks 2.0 offer to become a channel of communication of History. The study has been carried out on Twitter because its linguistic and structural characteristics represent a challenge to achieve an efficient dissemination of historical knowledge. However, Twitter offers the advantage of its popularity, more than 11 million accounts in Spain and more than 500 million worldwide.
