Abstract
This paper deals with A Revolução de Maio (1937), a very important film in the history of Portuguese cinema, which was produced by the government of Oliveira Salazar, dictator during a critical period for the Iberian society, when Spain suffered the Civil War, between 1936 and 1939. This film shows innovative techniques and was thought to make propaganda against other different ideologies.Downloads
