Augusto Vivero, un periodista represaliado por el franquismo
Abstract
This article aims to rescue from oblivion Augusto Viviero, a well-known journalist in the twenties decade that was executed by firing squad in 1939 during Franco’s regime violence campaign. We try to show the most important facts of his professional life and his political commitment in the previous years of the Spanish civil war and mainly, pay attention in the complex suppression process that he suffered from many different authorities. We will perform an analysis to see where we stand, his career, the kind of suppression that the republican journalist were subjected, and study in depth his own case. Our intention is to offer to the reader a detail analysis of the acts with which he was charged defending his ideals.Downloads
