Televisión contra memoria. Uso y abuso de la historia en la televisión franquista
Abstract
Introduced late in Spain, Television became quickly a means of propaganda for Franquism. Its development and growth on territory were simultaneous with Manuel Fraga Iribarne's change of policy as new minister of media and tourism and the campaign to launch: "XXV years of peace". Till this moment History started to be more and more introduced on Television programs. In the way to be cultural, educative and entertaining, this resort to the past involved many other factors too, as a wide range of thematic and all Television genre. Despite all those aspects and late in the Transition, the Civil War was nearly ignored.Downloads
