Abstract
Pierre Vilar (1906-2003) was one of the great historians of 21st century. Its extensive work characterized by the scientific strict and the methodologic newness, and is referring an essential one for all the historics of 21st century. Marxist historian, Vilar elaborated the concept of total history, understood like a construction able to connect the different levels from the social activity. Also he dedicated himself to the analysis of the national question, thematic in which it was an unquestionable authority He also approached the economic question and the conceptual boundary of categories and historical terms. In this article the main lines of their inmense historic work draw up. A so ample, rich and suggestive work that of Pierre Vilar can be said fully that he will be always a teacher of historians.Downloads
