Proyecto para un Nuevo Siglo Americano y la ideologización de la Diplomacia estadounidense
Abstract
The remilitarization of American Diplomacy comes previous to September 11th. The main strategic principles for the post Cold War era were defined during the Presidency of the former Bush by the same officials who have designed and set up the current US Foreign and Defence Policy. During the 90s, the so-called hawks sheltered in the academic world, where they continued elaborating their plan for America in the XXI century. In their offensive against the appeasement of President Clinton, they used a net of think tanks and conservatives mass media that helped to amplify the message of the Project for the New American Century. September 11 is just the catalyst of this Great Strategy. Its conceptual development started at Reagan Administration. Indeed, the neoconservatives mainly provide an ideological substratum and rhetoric, pregnant with nationalism and religiousness.Downloads
