La Historia Social Británica: Memoria de una contribución colectiva
Abstract
The article describes, from the thirties to our days, the ideological, cultural, personals and political relations and also the specific influence s in the making of the historiography tradition of the british marxists intelligentsia. Based in the idea of a double compromise within time, historic discipline and political action, the article observed this double dimension in their four main groups: labour tradition, people´s history, cultural studies and power, law-political and state studies. Fundamental investigation lines in contemporary history, key concepts, theoretical models (continentals and british), arguments and a self criticism, sketched as bridges to the nineties new zones of engagements, perfectly be on view in the New Left Review pages.Downloads
