Abstract
This article focuses on how propaganda constituted was one of the most relevant mainstays of the new francoist state arosed after the Spanish Civil War, just like it had been in fascists states evolved in Europe during the period between the wars. In order to achieve this objective we have used an element hardly ever exploited in the studies related to propaganda like for example reports on rumors and it has been chosen a restricted chronological and spatial framework with the aim of showing how Local History may be an excellent implement so as to improve the knowledge of the francoist state and his historical context.Downloads
