El Caso Watergate en la prensa española: ¿escándalo o conspiración?
Abstract
In this paper we analize the way the spanish press (ABC, Ya, Informaciones, Pueblo and El Alcázar) followed the Watergate Case and its main character Richard Nixon. This study is made relating it with the spanish politic context and the international situation between 1972 and 1974. Finally we have analized news concerning Watergate Case coinciding with Richard Nixon death in 1994 in the most important papers at that time (ABC, Ya, El Mundo and El País), with the aim of examining the valoration and interpretations of this case and of its main character two decades later.Downloads
