Abstract

In this article you can find a general view of what has been the evolution of the gazettes until they have turned into official bulletins, since many of then have had their origin, just, in the old official gazettes. And we have paid special attention to Gaceta de Madrid which can be considered the prototype of this evolution. In the study which has bees carried out, the formal, political and social contents have been treated in the same way, as well as the really journalistic ones.
