Study and method to know the ideal party to win elections: the case of the Community of Madrid for the 2019-2023 electoral period

Abstract

This research analyzes how political parties are perceived with respect to the ideal party by young people in the regional elections during the period 2019 to 2023, using a methodology that combines qualitative research through the discussion group technique with another quantitative one that uses the questionnaire, being the sample selected in both cases university students from the Community of Madrid. The analysis of the results allows to establish the perceptual positioning of the parties and conclude that the PSOE is the party to which more attributes are associated and the one that most cares about young people, being the formation closest to the ideal party.
