Abstract

Some spaces of sexist violence called manospheres are exposed, in particular Forocoches, one of the most well-known forums for its misogynistic and sexist content with efficacies and synergies alike to Neurocommunication. The degree of these has been analyzed, and classified the types of virtual masculinities that interact in it, identifying the identities incel (involuntary celibates: who consider themselves sexually discriminated because of their physical appearance), volcel (voluntary celibates: who "renounce" sex out of spite) and PUA (self-styled "pickup artists"). Works emanating from the well-known “Men going their own way” (MGTOW) movement, promoting masculinities and femininity, normative and binary, have been taken as references; hostile to the so-called “feminist hegemony”; Seeker of a male hegemony and the enhancement of a "proud, independent and self-sufficient" masculinity. Principles that emphasize misogynistic and sexist attitudes.
