Ana Caro Mallén: author of ‘relaciones’ and chronicler of her time
Abstract
The starting point of this article is to analyze if Ana María Caro Mallén de Torres, who has gone down for the History as the most important playwright of the Golden Age born in Spain and as a poet, might also be worthy of recognition in the context of the History of Journalism Spanish, as it is completely lacking in it. To meet this objective, the work investigates the complete production of ‘relaciones’ of the playwright, her themes, her value as a chronicle of the reality of her time and the author's link with the practice of writing event ‘relaciones’
