The History and the Social Communication in the studies of the world of labor
Abstract
In the following article we will rescue/highlight the importance of the (printing) press and images related to workers, as necessary sources to study and reconstruct local history. We will discuss how, from a particular perspective and using a novel source, we can study other realities, incorporating the voices of different social actors. We will seek to approach the complex and interesting world of images to see what information these sources provide us when using them in research and when supplement them with other sources.
