Dissidences and traces of neutrality in the propagandistic press of Falange´s Trenches: The “other generation of the 27th” the magazine La Ametralladora
Abstract
This article studies the Falange propaganda press aimed at the combatants, analyzing in depth the weekly La Ametralladora, with the aim of clarifying the impact of the journalistic and graphic work of the Other Generation of ’27, linked to the avant-garde of comedy. An integrated and multifunctional methodology is applied base don the systematization of quantitative evidence and qualitative reflection. The results determine the significant presence of these authors in the Falangist “trenches” press with depoliticidez cultural content, thus failing to comply with the dictated editorial line, disarticulating the purpose of these spaces and highlighting their independece of opinion in times of conglict.
