Analysis and evolution of the content on cinema in the Spanish cinematographic press (1910-2010)
Abstract
This article outlines the results of an analysis undertaken on the evolution of the film press between 1910 and 2010 and the main themes it covered, without discarding the discourses they have derived from. We have worked with a sample of 285 film magazines, in which we have identified both a generalist and a specialized model of film press, and within the latter, publications dedicated to cinematography, film stars, films and, among others, cinematographic genres.
