Publications about the organization of the Frente de Juventudes (1940-1961). Training of women in outdoor activities
Abstract
This paper studies the different orientation that the Falange, the only legally admitted party, promulgated in the masculine and feminine formation (education) in the outdoor activities field during the period of the organization of the Frente de Juventudes (1940-1961). For this purpose, we analyze the information that appears published in laws, magazines and different publications of the time. The results reveal the transmission of the ideology of the “movement” where the role of women was relegated to the background, with a marked stereotyped content and a role of support for the priority space occupied by men.Downloads
