The Impact of Russian Revolution on the Cordovan Field: An Approach from the Press and the City Council Minutes of the Town Halls
Abstract
The article shows what was the impact of the Russian Revolution on the Spanish rural world. Two different historical sources were used. On the one hand, the impact of the fall of the tsar and the establishment of the Bolshevik regime is traced by the press, which calibrates the image and the influence that the revolution had in Spain. On the other hand, refers to the City Council Minutes of the Town Halls of Cordoba, which shows how social crisis, aggravated by the war, overthrew the Russian Empire and hit the Spanish Monarchy and its institutions, which, unable to cope the situation, fell, irrevocably, into crisis, although they still could overcome the “Bolshevik Triennium”.Downloads
