Clío in social media: The experience of Facebook Contemporary History Group
Abstract
Facebook forms a growing virtual community that brings together millions of users. The Contemporary History Group has emerged in this virtual space to accommodate content relating to such historical period in its maximum extent. Conceived with a clear pedagogical purpose, the Group has set up links between different historians and non-academics interested in History and has spread new research sources; on the other hand, has also been the scene of several arguments. In this article we think about this new realm and about what is our role in social media as a group linked to the academic world.Downloads
