Film Production in Andalucía during the Spanish Civil War
Abstract
This article focuses on the relation between Andalucía and the film production in the Spanish civil war. The civil war outbreak caused the division of resources and infrastructures of the cinematographic industry, remaining in Andalucia as a tool that serves to the National faction propaganda. Andalucía continues providing stages to the films coproduced with Germany. The only Andalusian film registered during these years is La casa de la Troya (1936) directed by Adolfo Aznar and Juan Vilá Vilamala and produced by Andalucía Cinematográfica (A.C.S.A.), company sited in Málaga.Downloads
