Eduardo Sojo: The Architect of the Satirical Journalism in Spain and Argentina
Abstract
This article analyzes Eduardo Sojo´s extensive work through the satirical publications, which he founded in Spain and Argentina during the last decades of 19th century. By looking into some of his political cartoons, his political positioning is reconstructed in the different contexts in which his work was developed, as well as the impact caused by his speech in favor of republican values and his constant disdain directed toward clergy in the public opinion in both countries.Downloads
