"CityVille": promoting prosocial collaborative game not war on social networks
Abstract
The war video games had been criticized, but CityVille -hosted social networks- promotes a constructive entertainment between players online, it fostering dynamics of social interaction and active participation. The survey carried out to gamers (N=105) reflects that you move them your desire to have fun building their own virtual cities. Men prevail its expansion to reach the maximum level, communicating with others to profit and gain, while women value more the exchange of strategies and mutual collaboration. Undoubtedly this game promotes problem solving from an optical Dialogic away from wars and confrontations.Downloads
