Abstract

It is analized the teachers’usefulness and peers in the identification of educations needs associates to high intellectual capacity. 41 teachers inform about 828 students of elementary education. The teacher shows as: a) A good identifier of pupils with high capacity; b) not discriminative between pupils with high capacity and very high capacity; c) tends to generalize the academic image to other fields wich aren’t in relation with it; d) the stereotipe of gifted has also been established like no much friendly, a bit revel and with less motive coordination. The objetive data contredit this topic. Peers value to schoolmates with high intellectual capacity as move skillful in the socialization fields. Just like the teacher, they don’t differentiate between high and very high pupils.
