La imagen del sonido y la escritura espectral
Abstract
The aim of this study is to bring to the fore the function of sound images (sonogram) in relationship to the evolution of the spectral musical language. After presenting a short definition of spectral music from an historical and theoretical point of view, some categories deduced from the application of the sonogram to the spectral composition for orchestra will be sketched out. This approach will lead to discussion about the incidence of the use of sound images in the framework of the spectral revolution, particularly in relationship to the crisis of the twelve-note musical system. In conclusion, the repercussions of this notion in the frame of the recent tendencies of spectral music will be mentioned.Downloads
