Abstract

The present text is perhaps more present than other texts because of the writing praxis that it assume, but perhaps it is not a text. They are clues, sometimes rigorous, sometimes provocative or insolent, about a discomfort I felt when I read, translated, analyzed, thought the relationship between Derrida and art, the thought of the trace and the arts. These clues have a distant horizon, yet to come, and are articulated by three hypotheses: “Derrida is incompetent”, “In Derrida, there is no relationship between art and politics”, “In art, Derrida’s thinking is concerned by Rancière’s thinking”.
