Pictorical Paradigms in early Hans Blumenberg’s metaforology
Abstract
Specialized studies on Hans Blumenberg’s works have paid little attention on relations between metaphorology and art history. Blumenberg’s interest on aesthetic and pictorial topics are already in his very first publications, but also in his later works. In this paper we consider this specific field, particularly regarding the incidence of various pictorial traditions in early gestation of Blumenberg’s metaphorology.Downloads
