Abstract

The figure of Marlon Brando in the history of the universal film, is a benchmark global envelope certain iconic characters. Brando became the symbol of the character and transgressor and cursed, as seen in the majority of his filmography. This type of characters have a reference in the play by Tennessee Williams. Brando was one of their early hits right at the beginning of his career in the film A streetcar named desire, inspired by the eponymous Williams work. From is currently the actor conceptualised, form and expression gave those cursed and transgressors beings work wiliansiana, already neck left and reflected in many of his later film interventions such as The Chase (1966) or Apocalipse Now (1979).
