The documentary production of the Sevillian Church during the Middle Ages: resources, norms and actors
Abstract
In the following lines we make an approach to a not explored topic: the documentary production of the Sevillian Church, both episcopal and capitular, with special attention to its medieval centuries. This study, the result of a long work of documentary compilation, the way in which the Church of Seville had a simple but very effective apparatus for the issuance of the documents to govern one of the richest seats of the Castilian kingdom will be demonstrated.
