Abstract

Starting from the conceptual premises to be found in studies of the plot by F. Kermode, R. Barthes and E. Trias, our aim is to identify the two identitary systems from which the repertoire of possible plots is derived:the symbolic identitary systems (systems of external references) and the imaginary identitary systems(systems of internal references). Each of these systems corresponds with one of the two great periods into which the history of western culture can be divided: traditional society, Modernism and Postmodernism. Both systems present the tour plots presented by the author: aversive, possessive, transgressive and reflexive.
