Álvaro Cunqueiro y sus "Flores del año mil y pico de ave"
Abstract
1968 Álvaro Cunqueiro published "Flores del año mil y pico de ave", a book in which he collected his first short stories, all of them written in Spanish and edited separately between 1939 and 1956. But in the new edition all the tales received an order which was just the contrary of that of their creation (in fact, the first ones of the book are the furthest that Cunqueiro wrote and vice versa). In this article I try to show the historical and narratological reasons that possibly had Cunqueiro to realize this new edition of his first short narrative works and to give that specific order to the stories. I also study and explain the internal coherence of this group of tales and its meta-narrative meaning.Downloads
