The irony: the historical evolution of the notion
Abstract
In our article we try to understand the historical evolution of the notion of irony. Rethinking the ideas expressed at the different stages of the human evolution (Antic Greece, Modern and Contemporary Europe) we try to examine not only the historical evolution of the notion but the possible changes of its significance.
