El texto tejido en "La amortajada" de María Luisa Bombal
Abstract
The present work analysis La amortajada (1938) by María Luisa Bombal is written from the perspective of the metaphor of the textile text, which is culturally based on the myths of Arachne, the tissue of the Parcae and the loom of Penelope. Furthermore, this work intends to emphasize the material complexity of an organically arachnid text by following theoretical propositions of a woven, knotted or sewed text which Bombal poetically builds when interweaving the "La historia de María Griselda" like an arachnid or intertextual radiation. A wide range of material and metaphorical tissues thematically frees itself from the novel, while a constant transgression regarding mythical images of female weavers is present. Bombal links them with the place of enunciation - recumbent body of the shrouded woman - by forming a real rhapsody of Atropos on a textual level. With it the tissues of love of a modern Penelope are juxtaposed, symbolical-cosmical and natural structures are discussed like a demonstration of narrating the Avant-garde from a domestic point of view or with a different toneDownloads
