Abstract

The 2013 Corporate Volunteering Report was presented in March at the IESE Business School in Madrid. The purpose of this annual research is to ascertain the status and evolution of corporate volunteering as a tool integrated into Corporate Social Responsibility in our country. The study methodology involved a quantitative analysis by sending surveys to 2,500 companies in the most representative sectors of the market (finance and insurance, industry, transport, services, hospitality, among others). Most of these companies have more than 500 employees. This study provides information of interest for the design, implementation and improvement of these social action plans by companies in the medium and long term. This report was carried out by the Corporate Volunteering Observatory, an entity coordinated by Cooperación Internacional ONG and IESE, with the collaboration of Iberdrola, Fundación Repsol and Fundación Telefónica.
