Caminos de hierro y acero: un largo trayecto a través de la Revista de Obras Públicas
Abstract
Founded in 1853, close to the launch of the Spanish railway system, the journal Revista de Obras Publicas (ROP) has followed the evolution of this method of transportation. Charting the development of the railway from the Industrial Revolution to the current Information Society, the ROP has reported on the changing commercial, economic and technical influences it has had in Spain. This work aims to conduct a bibliometric study through a selection, analysis and typological classification of the articles on railways published in the journal during its more than 150 year existence. Following a chronological structure, it will offer specialist researchers a benchmark for their works and at the same time, share the heritage of a publication that has given expression to a part of Spanish history.Downloads
