Abstract

Spanish medical journals are considered as central question in medical documentation and as drive of research and development in Medicine. It’s presented a study about beginning of medical press in Spain, and a description of communication tools in medical research along its’s evolution and history. In addition, it’s showed a collective catalogue of spanish medical journals published between the years 1736 and 1850, with an index of catalogues and libraries that keep these collections.
