Conservation, enhancement and divulgation of the photographic heritage. Case study: Jalón Ángel Archive
Abstract
This paper explains the origin of the Jalón Ángel Photographic Archive and how conservation, enhancement, research, and dissemination actions are carried out in it. These enormous tasks, which include the documentation, study, and design of activities in an archival entity of a historical-cultural nature, are fundamental to consolidate a coherent and continuous work of information and documentation. In this sense, it is therefore a question of reviewing these tasks, from the time the Archive was founded to the present, and thus highlighting both the work within the institution and its meaning to achieve the objectives and goals that the Archive has been marked both in the private an public sphere of the entity.
