Abstract
The goal of the present article is to present our two year experience in a Shelter Home for women who suffer domestic violence as well as their children. During this period of time, what we have witnessed and experienced has little in common with what has been written in the handbooks about violence or, at least, some of our experience does not appear in those handbooks. This is exactly what we want to tell in this article with the intention of taking the occasion to understand, discuss and think about our task.Downloads
