The reintegration of minors in immigrant families. Risks and needs of immigrant minors reunited with their families
Abstract
This paper analyses transnational families as households that transcend geographical boundaries in order to investigate the practices of transnational migrants from a family dimension and observe the damaging consequences the process may entail for minors in the care of these families. It examines the effects of transnational families on the treatment of children, focusing on three main stages in the process: child neglect, separation time and family reunification.Downloads
