Abstract

Social invigoration and community development appear as a key piece in the processes of rehabilitation and improvement of neighborhoods undergoing socio-urban decay. The organization of groups that act with a common interest reached by a dialogue that allows interaction in shared spaces are what enables participation, coexistence and the fight for the common good with the local population acting as the real protagonist of social change. This work describes and lays out the foundation for community intervention in which the creation of commissions comprised of entities and technical personnel appear as a key piece in the attainment of the proposed goals for improvement.
