Abstract

Prieto Crisis del empleo y cohesión social on of the basic pillars for legitimising the social order of industrialised societies and contributed to bring about solid social cohesion. This type of employment was secure, stable and came along with entitlements. In order to further clarify this, we devoted a few paragraphs to tracing out a theor y of the notion of social cohesion. As of the 1980s, this type of employment became affected by a severe crisis. We have questioned if and to what extent this crisis has introduced a dynamic of social fracture into our societies, and we have examined what avenues these developments may be taking.Downloads
