Abstract
Children played an important role in the iconographic display decorating the Theban tombs of the XVIII dynasty. The iconographic programme inside the tomb followed a fixed pattern and children were represented in some scenes with a symbolic character. They embody a guarantee for the deceased of continuity of life after death.Downloads
