Abstract
Alarcos is a very extensive and complex site and one of the most important in Castilla-La Mancha. Since 1992 it has been considered an Asset of Cultural Interest and since 2003 an Archaeological Park. It has a vast occupational sequence, ranging from the Bronze Age to the present day. The Iberian and medieval periods stand out especially. The article describes the different actions that have been carried out in the hill over the last 40 years, with special emphasis on the research work and publications related to its Iberian and pre-Iberian phases.
