Abstract

The TL-CALCULATOR program (TLC) has been developed to facilitate the calculations of the age of a sherd by means of thermoluminescence (`PL). From the `PL glow curves obtained in the TI. apparatus aud ihe U,Th and K contentsofthe sample, this program calculates ihe equivalent beta dose, the supralinearity correction, Ihe annual dose and the age, as well as the different error limits and the overalí error for a sample. The SEE and PLOT subprograms enable tIte user to consult the dala files generated by the main program, to compare the different TI.glow-curves, and make the «plateau test».
