Abstract

The interest and opportunity of this publication is justified by the need to specify and divulge the role that archaeoastronomy can play in the context of Spanish archaeological research. The theoretical and methodological debate about this discipline is discussed and its inclusion in the general framework of archaeometry is argued for.
