Abstract
Archaeological interventions are one of the activities undertaken for the recovery of historical memory by Foro por la Memoria, following a standard protocol of action. Other activities include collecting evidence from witnesses, taking legal actions in order to call public attention to the assassinations, and locating clandestine graves. Finally, the exhumation is carried out following a scientific method, but as a rescue excavation. In this article, the specific case study is the exhumation of a mass grave in the village of Cincovillas (Guadalajara), carried out by the Foro por la Memoria in October 2006.Downloads
