Aproximación al estudio del mobiliario fenicio. Approach to the study of the Phoenician furniture in the Iberian Peninsula

Abstract

In this article we deal with an unusual topic within of the studies of semitic colonization in Western Europe: the furniture. It was used over several centuries and even came to be used by the indigenous. Though we have little information, we have made different groups according to their functionality. At the same time we examine the role that these goods could play in the trade that they supported with the autochthonous peninsular population.
