Abstract
This paper shows the changes in settlements patterns and territorial organization during the Iron Age I the NW of the Iberian Peninsula. Firstly we analyze the patterns of location of hillforts through a methodology based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and we detect different trends. The connection between those location trends and chronology, allow us to suggest the existence of two moments of settlement construction. Finally we analyze the models of territorial organization in both moments.Downloads
