Abstract

Approach to the Bronze Age landscape in Pranemuru (Sardinia). This paper offers the first results of the 2001 field survey at the Pranemuru plateau (prov. Nuoro, Sardinia, Italy). The purpose of this and of the previous field campaigns were to produce enough paleoambiental, chronological and territorial data to enable the design of a GIS model of a Nuragic landscape and territory. In order to this, we chose a natural area, the Pranemuru Plateau, well defined from a geographical point of view, plenty of huge sites of nuragic chronology and with a extremely high variety of architectural forms, from simple to multitower ones.
